Today was so much fun! Our first visit was to where the Berlin Wall used to stand. Now all that remains of the great wall is a brick path. This is a historic site because it used to divide the country. East was communist and was controled by the Soviets. But the west was controled by the Allies and remained free of communism. This was truly a bad time for Germany. In 1989 the wall came down, once again unifying the country. We also visited the Black forest. It consists of dense woods caused by acid rain. The forest looked very dead. But it was still a very unique and interesting site. See you tommorow in Italy!!!
